Budbreak Wine Festival

Budbreak Wine Festival

May 1 2010 - 11:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.

Advanced tickets available at all Lowes Foods store locations: Wine Tasting $20 on event day $14 advance sales; General Admission $10 day of event, $9 advance sales

The Budbreak Wine Festival will be a unique experience, with emphasis on wine education, including food and wine pairing, fine art exhibits, great music, and for those participating, a wine judging contest. Our head judge for the judging will be the assistant Dean for the School of Enology from the University of Bordeaux, France, Pierre-Louis Teissedre.


9th Annual Yadkin Valley Wine Festival

Saturday, May 15, 2010 - 11:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Elkin Municipal Park, Elkin, NC

Come taste the wines of the Yadkin Valley! The Yadkin Valley Wine Festival® is open to the public, including families with children . Craft vendor displays and music will take place adjacent to the wine tasting area. There will be a roving Bacchus and activities for the youngsters.

Entertainment for the 2010 Festival will commence with music by the Natty Boh Duo from 12 noon through 2p.m. Headliner band Mixed Emotions will perform from 3p.m. until 6p.m. Between music there will be a grape stomp for the kids in attendance and some other special events.



9th Annual Yadkin Valley Wine Festival

Food and non-wine beverages will be available for purchase from selected vendors. Anyone tasting, purchasing or consuming wine at the festival must be at least 21 years of age. Additionally, to comply with North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement regulations, ANYONE tasting, purchasing or consuming wine will be required to show positive photographic identification and obtain a tasting wristband (which includes a Yadkin Valley Wine Festival engraved wine glass). Must be 21 years of age with proper ID or accompanied by an Adult. No pets or coolers allowed.
